Strafe is a 1987 Transformers G1 Technobot that transforms into a Cybertronic “rocket plane” with twin front-mounted Light-Pulse Blasters. The G1 Strafe toy includes a Heat-Ray Rifle and two Light-Pulse Blasters, which can also be used as hand-held weapons in robot mode. He is the only Technobot designed to use his vehicle-mode blasters this way and serves as Computron's left arm.
The Transformers G1 Strafe can form a limb for compatible Scramble City-style combiners and carries Takara ID C-88 and Team ID TK3. Later releases removed the rubsign indent, while some packaging variants included a random Autobot Decoy mini-figure, making Strafe a notable vintage G1 Technobot collectible.
