Springer is a 1986 Transformers G1 Autobot Triple Changer that transforms into a Cybertronian armored car or Cybertronian helicopter. The G1 Springer toy includes a laser rifle that mounts on the car mode, while the spinning helicopter rotor blades fold together to form a Light Saber.

The Transformers G1 Springer had notable production variations, with early releases featuring a yellow-painted die-cast metal chestplate that was later changed to yellow plastic. Springer carries Takara ID C-84 and remains a notable vintage G1 Triple Changer collectible.
