Sparkstalker is a 1988 Transformers G1 Firecon that transforms into a bipedal insectoid monster. The G1 Sparkstalker toy features a rubber gear-wheel and rolling gimmick that activates the Firecon team's signature cold-spark effect, shooting sparks from the monster's mouth.
The Transformers G1 Sparkstalker has a molded rubsign indent but uses a factory-applied Decepticon sticker instead, reflecting the phaseout of rubsigns during this period. The mold was later reused for Javil, making Sparkstalker a distinctive vintage G1 Firecon collectible.
