Snarler is a 1988 Transformers G1 Pretender Beast that transforms into a robotic wild boar with a drill-like snout and smaller drill tusks. The G1 Snarler toy includes a wild boar Pretender shell, tail, shoulder armor, and a programmable explosive-shell rotary cannon that can attach to the robot or shell in any mode.

The Transformers G1 Snarler has flexible aqua-blue plastic parts on the tusks, tail, and shoulder pads that are prone to fading over time. No version of the Snarler mold or character was released in Japan, making this vintage G1 Pretender Beast a distinctive collectible.
