Slugslinger is a 1987 Transformers G1 Targetmaster that transforms into a Cybertronian twin-cockpit space fighter. The G1 Slugslinger toy features articulated elbows, shoulders, hips, and knees, and includes the Targetmaster partner Caliburst, which attaches to a 5 mm post on the rear of the vehicle.
The Transformers G1 Slugslinger was released by both Hasbro and Takara, with the Japanese version lacking a rubsign and featuring gold chrome abdominal circles instead of the Hasbro version's silver. Slugslinger carries Takara ID D-90, making him a distinctive vintage G1 Targetmaster collectible.
