Skullcruncher is a 1987 Transformers G1 Headmaster that transforms into a green-and-pink robotic alligator. The G1 Skullcruncher toy includes the Headmaster partner Grax, a Demolecularization Gun, and a laser/tail weapon. Grax fits into a unique cockpit molded inside the back of the alligator's mouth beneath the large skull-shaped canopy.
The Transformers G1 Skullcruncher features a spring-loaded Tech Spec meter activated by inserting a Headmaster into his neck, with readings that vary by partner. His rear alligator legs can also rotate into a downward position for robot mode, while the tail weapon has an unusual club-like appearance despite being depicted as a firearm. Skullcruncher carries Takara ID D-85.
