Skids is a 1984 Transformers G1 Autobot Car that transforms into a Honda City Turbo. The G1 Skids toy includes a Liquid Nitrogen Rifle, Twin Electron Blaster, rocket pod launcher, and three rockets. The Hasbro release had a weakened launcher spring for safety, while the Takara version retained full power.
The Transformers G1 Skids is based on a Takara Diaclone toy and features an opening trunk originally designed for a small scooter accessory. Released late in 1984, Skids has an unusual release history and was packaged less frequently in 1985, making him a relatively uncommon vintage G1 Autobot Car collectible.
