Scowl is a 1989 Transformers G1 Pretender Monster with a Micromaster-sized inner robot that transforms into a bipedal monster. The G1 Scowl toy includes a dual Sonic Disrupter Gun, Pretender shell, back plate, and Monstructor foot. He can form either leg of Monstructor, with his designated position being the left leg.
The Transformers G1 Scowl Pretender shell is a hunchbacked, rock-like monster with a large fanged mouth and accessory storage on its back. The rubbery shell can develop oily residue and discoloration, while the inner robot's monster-mode head is prone to breaking at its hinge. Scowl carries Team ID PM4 and is a notable vintage G1 Pretender Monster collectible.
