Scourge is a 1987 Transformers G1 Targetmaster and a retool of the original Scourge toy. The G1 Scourge toy features widened hand holes for his Targetmaster partner Fracas, who transforms into an Incendiary Cannon. His original Laser Blaster is replaced by a Rocket Booster, which can now be held in his hand, while Fracas can mount on his head.

The Transformers G1 Targetmaster Scourge had packaging with an incorrect statement identifying Fracas as Misfire's weapon, later corrected through a running change. Unlike most 1987 Decepticon Targetmasters, this version was not released in Japan, making it a distinctive vintage G1 Targetmaster collectible.
