Sandstorm is a 1986 Transformers G1 Triple Changer that transforms into a sand rail dune buggy or Sikorsky CH-53 Sea Stallion helicopter. The G1 Sandstorm toy includes a Sandblaster Gun and was released with either die-cast metal or orange plastic feet and front bumper.
The Transformers G1 Sandstorm figure has an unusual detail: its side-window stickers appear to show a helmeted human driver. Takara released the figure with ID C-83, making Sandstorm a distinctive vintage G1 Triple Changer collectible.
