Transformers Generation 1 Blast Off (1986)

The 1986 Transformers G1 Blast Off is a Decepticon Combaticon that transforms into a brown-and-beige NASA Space Shuttle orbiter. He features two engine-mounted sonic cannons and a small ionic blaster, with the larger cannons moving to his legs in robot mode. Blast Off normally forms the right arm of Bruticus, but his Scramble City design allows him to serve as any compatible limb.

For collectors, G1 Blast Off is notable for its early die-cast metal chest, which was replaced by colored plastic in later production runs. The toy also features ball-jointed shoulders and was released with a randomly packed Decepticon Decoy in 1987. As one of the signature Combaticons, Blast Off remains a popular vintage G1 Transformers collectible.
