Rippersnapper is a 1987 Transformers G1 Terrorcon that transforms into a strange upright, bipedal shark creature. The G1 Rippersnapper toy includes a Cyclone Gun and a voice-guided missile launcher, which mounts on his back in beast mode. He can also attach to Metroplex in robot mode.
As a Scramble City-style combiner component, Rippersnapper can form an arm or leg on compatible combiners and is designated as Abominus' left arm. A later 1988 variant removed the rubsign and filled in the indentation on the beast-mode head. Some packaging versions also included a random Decepticon Decoy mini-figure, adding another variation to this G1 Terrorcon release.
