Red Alert is a 1985 Transformers G1 Autobot Car and a redeco of the Diaclone “New Countach LP500S Police Car,” itself based on the original Diaclone Lamborghini Countach mold. His red-and-white paint scheme represents a fire chief's vehicle, and the G1 Red Alert toy includes a High-Energy Particle Beam Rifle, shoulder-mounted Rocket Launcher, and three rockets. Hasbro weakened the launcher's spring-loaded firing mechanism for safety, while the Takara version retained its full strength.

The Transformers G1 Red Alert mold was reused for Clampdown, while the original Countach mold also produced Sideswipe, Deep Cover, Tigertrack, and Generation 2 Sideswipe. Red Alert received multiple reissues over the years and carries Takara ID 05, making this Lamborghini-based Autobot Car a notable early G1 Transformers release.
