Quickswitch is a 1988 Transformers G1 Six Changer and the second Six Changer in the original toyline. The G1 Quickswitch toy transforms into six forms: a humanoid robot, Cybertronic jet, drill tank, laser pistol, hovercraft, and flying puma. He includes two non-firing photon blasters that can be used across several modes, while his multiple transformations provide relatively good articulation despite the blocky designs.
The Transformers G1 Quickswitch figure has several production details, including differing recommendations for the placement of its Autobot sticker. Stock photography, package art, and Takara's instructions indicate the flat gray midriff area as the likely intended location. The same mold was later reused in Japan for Sixknight, making Quickswitch a notable vintage G1 Six Changer.
