Predaking is a 1986 Transformers G1 combiner formed from all five Predacons: Razorclaw as the torso, Rampage as the left arm, Tantrum as the left leg, Divebomb as the right arm with wings, and Headstrong as the right leg. Unlike Scramble City combiners such as Bruticus and Defensor, his arms and legs are not fully interchangeable, though they can switch sides to create four different configurations. His weapons include Razorclaw's sonic sword and beast-mode cannon.
The G1 Predaking toy was released by Takara as D-78 in both plastic and metal versions, with the die-cast version weighing exactly 1 kilogram when fully combined. Tantrum and Headstrong contain most of the die-cast weight, helping maintain the figure's balance. Japan received only the plastic versions during the original Generation 1 Transformers release, making the metal and plastic variants important details for vintage collectors.
