Pointblank is a 1987 Transformers G1 Targetmaster that transforms into a Cybertronic sports car and comes with his Targetmaster partner, Peacemaker, who transforms into a sonic blaster. The G1 Pointblank toy can hold Peacemaker or other 5 mm-compatible weapons in robot mode or mount them on the car roof. His removable winged engine block also becomes a shield, while articulation includes the shoulders, elbows, wrists, and waist.
The Transformers G1 Pointblank figure has fused lower legs below the knees due to safety requirements, while its transformation design allows more articulation than many figures of its era. In Japan, the character was released as Blanker with Takara ID C-106 and, like other 1987 Japanese Targetmasters, lacks a rubsign. Pointblank was also the only new-character US Targetmaster of the year to include an accessory beyond his Targetmaster partner.
