Pincher is a 1989 Transformers G1 Pretender whose inner robot transforms into a scorpion by attaching to a separate stinger-and-leg section. The toy includes a stun rifle, laser torch, removable helmet, and scorpion tail-and-leg backpack. The laser torch attaches to his back in scorpion mode and stores inside the Pretender shell when not in use.
His humanoid shell features a removable helmet and storage for the scorpion components. Like other 1989 Pretenders, the laser torch stores inside the shell through a port in the leg. Pincher was never released in Japan, making this figure a distinctive vintage G1 Pretender collectible.
