Overload is a 1989 Transformers G1 Micromaster Transport released in the sixth year of Hasbro's US Transformers toyline. The G1 Overload toy transforms into a blue Freightliner COE truck with a gray-and-red car carrier trailer. His robot mode resembles Optimus Prime, while the trailer features a molded side stripe. The trailer carries up to four smaller Micromasters and unfolds into a jet that Overload can ride.
In Japan, Transformers G1 Overload was released a year later as Roadjet in the Zone toyline, with Takara ID C-337. The Takara version is nearly identical to the Hasbro release, with the truck grille changing from black to silver. With its Micromaster transport trailer, jet mode, and Optimus Prime-inspired design, G1 Overload is a distinctive vintage Micromaster Transport collectible.
