Overkill and Slugfest are 1987 Transformers G1 Mini-Cassettes released together as a two-pack in the fourth year of the original Transformers toyline. G1 Overkill transforms from a blue-and-white microcassette into a dinosaur mode described as a Tyrannosaurus, though its design more closely resembles a ceratosaur. He includes left and right chromed motion missile pods that attach in robot-dinosaur mode.
In cassette mode, Transformers G1 Overkill fits inside the chest compartments of the Soundwave and Blaster toy molds, along with several related releases. Sold exclusively with Slugfest, the pair is a notable vintage G1 Transformers Mini-Cassette collectible from 1987.
