Armored Convoy with Optimus Prime is a 1990 Transformers G1 Action Master set featuring a non-transforming 3¾-inch Optimus Prime action figure based closely on his character model. The figure has articulated neck, shoulders, knees, and hips, plus 3 mm accessory ports, a 5 mm back post, and foot holes for mounting to larger vehicles. Accessories include two laser guns, four blaster cannons, two Energon exhaust stacks, and a photon bazooka.
The Transformers G1 Action Master Optimus Prime figure was sold exclusively with Armored Convoy, a large, heavily armed tractor-trailer and the largest Action Master vehicle set. The commercial version of the figure showed gray paint on the upper legs that was omitted from the final release. As a 1990 G1 Optimus Prime release, Armored Convoy is notable for its large vehicle, extensive weapon loadout, and non-transforming Action Master design.
