Nosecone is a 1987 Transformers G1 Technobot from the fourth year of Hasbro's original The Transformers toyline, transforming into a Cybertronian drill tank. The figure includes an X-ray laser pistol and two rocket-propelled missiles that attach to the drill tank mode, although the missiles can be removed for a lower-profile vehicle appearance. Nosecone is part of the Technobots and carries Takara ID C-87 and Team ID TK2.
As a Scramble City-style combiner, Nosecone can form a limb for compatible combiners and is designated as the left leg of Computron. His unusual two-hole foot connection creates an off-center attachment, while his standard position also makes him one of the few combiner limbs that faces backward. Later-production versions lost their rubsigns and featured a raised grill pattern where the original rubsign indent had been. Some packaging variants also included a random Autobot Decoy mini-figure, making Nosecone a notable G1 Technobot and Computron collectible.
