Nautilator is a 1988 Transformers G1 Seacon from the classic Generation 1 Transformers toyline, transforming into a robot lobster. The toy includes a triple crusher cannon, lobster claws, tripod rifle, connector, and weapon stand base. These accessories support multiple configurations, including a Targetmaster-style heat-seeking torpedo cannon that can mount on the weapon stand or function as a weapon for the combined Seacon robot. The removable lobster claws are frequently missing from loose examples, making complete figures particularly desirable to collectors.
As a G1 Seacon, Nautilator is a Scramble City-style combiner component that can form an arm or leg for compatible combiners and can also become a hand-held cannon when used with Piranacon. His instructions designate him as Piranacon's right leg, while most media depictions show him as the right arm. He was not included in the Piranacon gift set, making this individual release a notable collectible for fans of G1 Transformers, Seacons, Piranacon, and vintage 1988 Transformers toys.
