Mixmaster is a 1985 Transformers G1 Constructicon that transforms into a green and purple cement mixer. Based on the Takara Diaclone Construction Vehicle Robot No. 6, the toy includes a laser pistol, magna laser, twin blaster, and drill missile projectile. Mixmaster also features an Attack Truck mode using his laser pistol and Devastator's rifle. His built-in launcher is located above his head and can fire either the twin blaster or drill projectile, although the U.S. release has a weakened spring for safety.
As one of the six Constructicons, Mixmaster combines with his teammates to form Devastator, where he becomes the left leg. The Transformers G1 Mixmaster toy carries Hasbro Team ID 6 and Takara ID 34 and is notable for a rubsign placement issue: the rubsign overlaps the rear vehicle-mode hole used to secure Mixmaster when combining with the other Constructicons, causing it to become damaged during combination. Mixmaster remains a popular collectible among fans of G1 Transformers, Constructicons, and Devastator.
