The 1990 Transformers G1 Metro Squad is a Micromaster Combiner Squad consisting of three urban-themed vehicles: Power Run and Strikedown as a hovercraft, Oiler and Slide as a fuel transport truck, and Roadburner with Wheel Blaze/Fireguard as a cherry-picker truck. Each vehicle splits into two Micromaster robots, with the team sharing a distinctive white, black, blue, and yellow color scheme.
Each Metro Squad vehicle can combine in vehicle mode with another squad member or with compatible Micromaster Combiners, creating versatile combination options. Released as a carded three-vehicle set, the Metro Squad is a notable 1990 G1 Micromaster release that combines compact transforming robots with interchangeable vehicle combinations.
