The Playmates Toxie action figure is one of nine figures released in 1991 for the Toxic Crusaders toy line, based on the animated series inspired by The Toxic Avenger. As the heroic leader of the Toxic Crusaders, Toxie is the mutated alter ego of Melvin, a victim of a radioactive waste accident who gains super strength and becomes Tromaville’s defender against pollution and evil.
The figure is a Giant 10 inch version of the hero Toxie
