Toxic Crusaders Junkyard (1991)

The Playmates Junkyard action figure is one of nine figures released in 1991 for the Toxic Crusaders toy line, based on the animated series inspired by The Toxic Avenger. Junkyard is a powerful mutant created when a stray dog and a human merge during an electrical storm, becoming one of Toxie’s allies in the fight against pollution in Tromaville.

The figure includes multiple accessories: a yellow flag, yellow bone, yellow shotgun, fluorescent white shotgun sight, and orange belt. No major figure variants are known, though international packaging differences exist. The Junkyard Toxic Crusaders figure is a collectible favorite among fans of Playmates toys, 1990s cartoon action figures, Troma collectibles, mutant superhero figures, and vintage Toxic Crusaders merchandise.
