Toxic Crusaders Headbanger (1991)

The Playmates Headbanger action figure is one of nine figures released in 1991 for the Toxic Crusaders toy line, based on the animated series inspired by The Toxic Avenger. Headbanger is a unique mutant character created by Dr. Bender, combining two opposing personalities in one body: a grumpy mad scientist and a young surfer.

The figure includes a pink skateboard, pink shotgun, and fluorescent shotgun sight accessory. No major figure variants are known, though international packaging differences exist. The Headbanger Toxic Crusaders figure is a popular collectible among fans of Playmates toys, 1990s cartoon action figures, Troma collectibles, mutant superhero toys, and vintage Toxic Crusaders merchandise.
