The 1985 Transformers G1 Long Haul is a Decepticon Constructicon that transforms into a bright green Hitachi DH321 mining dump truck. Its articulated dump bed, dual rear wheels, and included Laser Pistol make it a distinctive G1 construction vehicle. Long Haul can also be converted into an Attack Truck by adding the Missile Mount and Wing accessories to the dump bed.
As one of the six original Constructicons, Long Haul combines with his teammates to form Devastator, serving as the lower torso. The toy has notable early and later chest variations, with the original version featuring a grille slot inherited from the Diaclone design. European releases included a distinctive 1986 yellow-color version, while the Italian GiG release was sold as Macigno with Takara-style packaging and numbering.
