Rambo Black Dragon Sound Pistol (1986)

The 1986 Arco Rambo Black Dragon Sound Pistol is a rare vintage role-play toy from the Rambo: The Force of Freedom merchandising line. Produced by Arco Industries, it was inspired by Black Dragon, the ninja villain and S.A.V.A.G.E. operative who served as the twin rival of White Dragon. The pistol reflects the character with a distinctive black, red, and purple color scheme.

The battery-operated plastic pistol produces electronic commando-style firing sounds when the trigger is pulled, eliminating the need for caps or ammunition. Its design features a dark gray or black molded body, textured grip, and translucent red barrel section with Rambo branding. For collectors, the Arco Black Dragon Sound Pistol is an unusual example of 1980s Rambo role-play merchandise and a desirable companion piece to the Coleco Black Dragon action figure.
