Rambo Helicopter Cockpit (1986)

The 1986 Arco Rambo Helicopter Cockpit (Model MPN 623) is a rare electronic role-play toy from the Rambo: The Force of Freedom merchandising line. While Coleco produced the Skyfire Assault Copter for its action figures, Arco created this approximately 13-inch plastic helicopter dashboard simulator to let children pretend they were piloting Rambo’s combat helicopter.

The battery-operated cockpit features a steering yoke/joystick, manually spinning propeller, wearable pilot headset, flashing command lights, and electronic helicopter engine and machine-gun sound effects. A themed sticker sheet adds radar, ammunition, and weapon-display graphics to the dashboard. For collectors, the Arco Rambo Helicopter Cockpit is an unusual example of 1980s Rambo role-play merchandise that expanded the franchise beyond traditional action figures and vehicles.
