The 1985 LarGo Rambo White Dragon Throwing Stars / Carry Band is a vintage ninja role-play accessory inspired by Rambo: First Blood Part II and the Rambo: The Force of Freedom animated series. Produced by LarGo Toys, the set was designed for children to role-play as White Dragon, Rambo’s heroic ninja ally. Unlike Coleco’s larger action figures, LarGo focused on wearable accessories that recreated the character’s signature ninja equipment.
The Throwing Stars / Carry Band included a white fabric sash designed to be worn across the chest or waist, along with three or four small plastic shuriken that could be attached to the band for quick-access play. Because the lightweight throwing stars were extremely small and easy to lose, complete examples with the original matching shuriken are difficult to find today. As a result, the LarGo White Dragon Throwing Stars / Carry Band is a desirable collectible for fans of vintage 1980s Rambo and ninja role-play toys.
