The 1985 LarGo Rambo Survival Knife is a rare vintage role-play toy released by LarGo Toys during the height of the Rambo: First Blood Part II and Rambo: The Force of Freedom merchandising boom. Unlike the unlicensed metal replicas sold at the time, this was a licensed plastic Rambo toy designed for children to recreate Rambo’s survival-adventure persona.

Styled after the iconic survival knife featured in the films, the LarGo version features an all-plastic silver blade with molded saw teeth, a dark green textured handle, and a screw-off pommel cap. The hollow handle contained a small piece of string for pretend survival use, while the original carded set also included a survival watch, Good Luck Pendant inspired by Rambo’s jade necklace, stickers, and instructions. Complete examples are increasingly desirable to collectors of vintage Rambo toys and 1980s movie merchandise.
