The 1986 Coleco Rambo Standard Weapons Pack (Item #0836) is a vintage accessory set created for the 6.5-inch Rambo: The Force of Freedom action figure line. Designed as an arsenal upgrade and replacement set, it gave children extra weapons for battle play and provided replacement parts for accessories that were easily lost. Rather than introducing new sculpts, Coleco reused weapons from the Series 1 hero and S.A.V.A.G.E. figures, molding them in alternate colors such as green, black, and reddish-orange to distinguish the pack from the original figure accessories.
A complete Coleco Rambo Weapons Pack could include a Type 56 machine gun, .30-caliber machine gun, M16 rifle, pistol crossbow, 9mm and Tokarev pistols, machete, boomerang, and bullwhip. Today, the set is an important collectible for completing loose 1986 Coleco Rambo figures, although original sealed examples often have a common packaging issue: the factory adhesive can deteriorate over time, causing the clear blister bubble to separate from the card even when the weapons remain unused.
