The 1986 Coleco Standard Rambo action figure with Battle-Action RPG is the definitive version of John Rambo from the Rambo: The Force of Freedom toy line, inspired by Sylvester Stallone’s appearance in Rambo: First Blood Part II. The muscular, bare-chested figure features sculpted combat scars, green military cargo pants, a black fabric headband, and a molded jade Buddha amulet. Its signature Battle-Action feature uses a spring-loaded right arm that snaps forward when activated from the back.
A complete figure includes an M60 machine gun, removable fabric ammunition bandolier, green combat belt, survival knife, dual T-knives, and spring-loaded RPG launcher. The RPG includes Coleco’s distinctive anti-loss ball-and-string tether, which keeps the red projectile attached to the launcher after firing. With its movie-inspired design, extensive accessories, and action features, the Coleco 1986 Rambo Battle-Action figure remains a standout collectible from the vintage Rambo toy line.
