1987 Transformers G1 Kup Targetmaster is a re-release of the original Kup with plastic rear wheels and slight retooling for Targetmaster compatibility. His wider 5 mm fist holes allow him to hold the included Recoil partner, while a new mounting point on the vehicle-mode rear provides additional weapon storage.

Instead of Kup’s original Musket Laser, Recoil transforms into a different version of the Musket Laser and functions as Kup’s Targetmaster weapon. This version was not released in the original Takara Transformers toyline, making 1987 Kup Targetmaster a distinctive vintage G1 collectible.
