Talking Daggit (Muffit) is a 1978 Mattel Battlestar Galactica plush toy based on Muffit, the robotic Daggit companion from the original television series. Unlike the standard Daggit figure, this interactive plush features a pull-string sound mechanism built into the collar that activates authentic character sounds, including barking, whining, and other playful effects inspired by the show.

Measuring approximately 14 inches long and 9 inches tall, the Talking Daggit plush toy is considered moderately difficult to find on the secondary market. Its unique electronic feature, character appeal, and connection to one of the franchise’s most memorable companions make it a sought-after collectible among Battlestar Galactica fans, Mattel vintage toy collectors, and classic science fiction memorabilia enthusiasts.
