Spiral Zone Rimfire Plasma Cannon (1987)

The 1987 Tonka Rimfire Plasma Cannon (MPN 7044) is a large heroic Zone Riders artillery vehicle from the Spiral Zone toy line. Designed for the line’s 7-inch action figures, Rimfire is one of the largest and most sought-after vehicles in the collection, measuring more than 14 inches long.

The vehicle features a futuristic military design centered around a transparent red cockpit dome enclosed within a giant rolling center wheel. A Zone Rider sits inside the cockpit while the outer wheel rotates around the upright pilot compartment. Rimfire also includes a massive double-barreled plasma cannon and two stabilizing outriggers with molded tread assemblies.

The original 1987 release included the Rimfire vehicle, red canopy, twin-barreled cannon, stabilizer treads, instruction sheet, and custom decals.
