Spiral Zone Desert Combat Suit (1987)

The Desert Combat Suit is a vintage 1987 accessory set released by Tonka for the Spiral Zone toy line. Designed for the line's approximately 7-inch Zone Rider figures, this standalone cloth uniform expansion pack allowed children to customize their existing figures for specialized desert missions without purchasing another action figure.

The vintage Tonka Desert Combat Suit set includes a real-cloth tan, brown, and sand-colored camouflage jumpsuit, a molded tan military cap, and survival accessories including a laser pistol, entrenching shovel, and canteen. Because the set was sold separately from the main figures and vehicles, examples are harder to find, while the cloth uniform and small accessories are easily stained, torn, or lost.
