The 1986 Mattel She-Ra: Princess of Power Flutterina is a Wave 2 figure known as the Great Rebellion’s beautiful lookout. She features ash blonde hair, an orange-pink-and-purple design, and a removable backpack with a mechanical pulley system that makes her large butterfly wings flap. Accessories include cloth choker, fabric skirt, belt, shield, styling comb, and “A Most Unpleasant Present” mini-comic.
Flutterina is a distinctive vintage Princess of Power figure because of her unusual mechanical wing action and colorful butterfly design. The translucent wings and pulley mechanism can be fragile, with broken or damaged wings common on loose examples, while the heavy backpack can make the figure difficult to stand. Complete examples with intact wings, backpack, clothing, shield, comb, and mini-comic are especially desirable to collectors.
