1989 Transformers G1 Jazz Classic Pretender is a simplified version of the original Jazz toy that still transforms into a Porsche 935 Turbo. He comes with a black Photon Rifle that can mount on the vehicle-mode roof, plus a two-piece Pretender shell with a removable helmet and large rifle.
Jazz’s outer Pretender shell resembles a human wearing blue and white armored space-suit gear and can store the smaller robot and its weapon. The shell’s large black rifle is described as a semi-automatic ion pulse gun in the Tech Specs. 1989 Jazz Classic Pretender is a distinctive vintage Transformers G1 collectible combining Jazz’s classic Porsche design with the unusual Pretender concept.
