1988 Transformers G1 Iguanus is a Decepticon Pretender that transforms into a Cybertronic motorcycle. His Hurricane Air Blaster mounts to the rear of the motorcycle, while the detachable wheelbase can be used as a blade or mace weapon. The motorcycle’s wheels are non-functional and formed from a single hollow strut, creating a distinctive but unusual design.

Iguanus’s outer Pretender shell transforms into a large, bipedal iguana monster with a swiveling tail and detachable weapons. His robot mode has limited knee articulation and several unusual engineering choices typical of the second-wave Pretenders. 1988 Iguanus was never released in Japan, making him a distinctive vintage Transformers G1 Pretender collectible.
