1988 Transformers G1 Hosehead is an Autobot Headmaster that transforms into a fire truck of an unspecified model. His vehicle mode features a rotating ladder base, an extendable ladder reaching approximately 22 cm, and a movable nozzle. Hosehead comes with his Headmaster partner Lug, an accelerator rifle, two laser pistols, and a seat/helmet for the Headmaster pilot. His weapons can be stored on the vehicle or mounted to the ladder.

In robot mode, Hosehead features a chest-mounted Tech Spec meter activated by inserting Lug or another Headmaster. Because of the smaller Headmaster design, his Speed, Strength, and Intelligence ratings appear together on a single sliding plate, displaying 5, 8, and 6. Released unchanged in Japan as Cab, a Headmaster Junior, 1988 Hosehead is a distinctive vintage Transformers G1 Headmaster collectible.
