Indiana Jones Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom Giant Thuggee (1984)

The 1984 Giant Thuggee action figure was released by LJN as part of the Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom toy line. Standing approximately 5.5 inches tall, the figure is based on the imposing Thuggee temple guard portrayed by Pat Roach in the film’s Pankot Palace sequence.

Its signature feature is a lever-action mechanism on the back that raises and lowers both arms, recreating the character’s powerful movements. The Giant Thuggee is a notable vintage Indiana Jones action figure from 1984, sought after by collectors of LJN and Temple of Doom toys.
