Bravestarr Thirty-Thirty Robotic Stallion (1986)

The 1986 Mattel BraveStarr Thirty/Thirty (30/30) Robotic Stallion is one of the centerpiece toys in the vintage BraveStarr line. Based on Marshal BraveStarr's loyal cybernetic horse and humanoid partner, Thirty/Thirty features a massive metallic silver body, white mane and tail, black hooves, and a red technological harness. The approximately 8-inch figure can be posed upright in a rearing bipedal position, but its design is primarily focused on its imposing robotic horse form.

Thirty/Thirty's signature accessory is his massive energy rifle, Sara Jane, which consists of a large blaster body and detachable barrel extension. The figure also comes with an extensive set of removable horse tack, including a brown saddle, stirrups, bridle, chest harness, reins, saddle bags, and weapon scabbard. Two translucent amber Kerium nuggets are included for storage in the saddle bags.

Because of its numerous loose accessories, finding a complete 1986 Mattel Thirty/Thirty can be challenging for collectors. The thin stirrup clips, rein loops, and hollow plastic tail are especially prone to damage or breakage. With its large scale, robotic horse design, extensive accessories, and signature Sara Jane weapon, Thirty/Thirty remains one of the most recognizable and collectible vintage BraveStarr toys.
