Bravestarr Fort Kerium Command Center (1986)

The 1986 Mattel Fort Kerium Command Center is the central headquarters of the vintage BraveStarr modular town and Marshal BraveStarr's main office and defense hub on New Texas. Sold both as a standalone playset and as the centerpiece of the larger Fort Kerium Complete Playset, it features a futuristic Old West sheriff's-office design scaled for the line's 8-inch action figures.

The Command Center includes a large main office facade, boardwalk deck, upper balcony, and distinctive rooftop watchtower. Its interactive features focus on surveillance and defense, including flip-around wanted posters, two large red laser rifles, a removable surveillance telescope, an interior command chair and computer consoles, a flagpole, and an armored blast shield. The watchtower provides an elevated position for spotting approaching outlaws.

As the anchor of the Fort Kerium playset system, the Command Center could also connect with other buildings such as the Bank & Jail. Its combination of modular construction, Western sci-fi design, interactive features, and central role in the BraveStarr town makes the 1986 Fort Kerium Command Center one of the most important and collectible playsets in the vintage Mattel line.
