Bravestarr Outlaw Skuzz (1986)

The 1986 Mattel Outlaw Skuzz action figure—often spelled Scuzz on vintage packaging—is one of the most distinctive small-scale figures in the BraveStarr toy line. Standing approximately 4–5 inches tall, Skuzz represents the Prairie People, a race of small furry aliens, and is the evil cousin of heroic Deputy Fuzz. As a spy and henchman for Tex Hex, Skuzz is the only Prairie Person portrayed as a villain in the series.

Mattel gave Skuzz a highly detailed villainous sculpt featuring a toothy grin, bloodshot eyes, grey-green skin, dark fur clothing, and a tattered Western vest. Instead of the standard 8-inch figure format, he was sold as a figure-and-vehicle set with his signature Skuzz Bucket hover glider. The vehicle features handlebars, side-mounted laser controls, and an opening compartment for storing loot, making the 1986 Outlaw Skuzz a particularly unusual and collectible vintage BraveStarr release.
