Bravestarr Laser-Fire BraveStarr (1986)

The 1986 Mattel Laser-Fire BraveStarr deluxe action figure is the premium electronic version of Marshal BraveStarr from the vintage BraveStarr toy line. It combines the standard 8-inch BraveStarr figure with the blue Heroic Laser-Fire Backpack, creating a complete infrared battle set straight from the box. The figure features a mechanical quick-draw action that rapidly raises his right arm when the back button is pressed.

The deluxe set includes the blue electronic Laser-Fire Backpack with wired Neutra-Laser pistol, translucent orange Kerium Nugget, comic book, poster, instruction sheet, and retroreflective training target. The 9-volt battery-powered backpack allows BraveStarr to participate in infrared battles with the opposing Evil Laser-Fire Backpack. Because the electronic backpack adds considerable weight to the figure, complete examples can be difficult to display upright.

With its larger window-box packaging, electronic accessories, and unique quick-draw gimmick, the 1986 Laser-Fire BraveStarr is one of the more distinctive and collectible versions of the vintage Mattel Marshal BraveStarr figure.
