Bravestarr Handle Bar (1986)

The 1986 Mattel Handle Bar action figure is an 8-inch figure from the original BraveStarr toy line, depicting the reformed space pirate who became the friendly bartender at the Fort Kerium Cantina. Known for his bright green skin, orange-yellow hair and oversized handlebar mustache, Handle Bar wears a white bartender's shirt with purple pants, boots, and suspenders, closely matching his Filmation appearance.

Like other vintage Mattel BraveStarr figures, Handle Bar features an integrated action gimmick. His spring-loaded right arm can be pulled back and locked into position, then released by pressing a button on his shoulder, causing the arm to swing forward and launch an accessory. His original accessories include two chrome-colored serving trays and a translucent orange Kerium Nugget, making complete examples especially desirable to vintage BraveStarr collectors.
