The LJN Mako action figure is a vintage transforming toy from the TigerSharks toy line, based on the leader of the TigerSharks from the classic 1980s animated series. Featuring Transformatic Action, Mako transforms from a humanoid figure into a shark-like creature by rotating the left arm clockwise. The figure includes hidden retractable fins activated by arm buttons and a snap-on Wrist Rocket accessory.

Like other TigerSharks transforming figures, Mako features a chest door mechanism that was prone to popping off or being lost over time. As the leader character, the Mako TigerSharks figure remains a popular collectible among fans of LJN toys, 1980s cartoon action figures, vintage transforming toys, and classic animated series collectibles.
