Tigersharks Lorca (1987)

The LJN Lorca action figure is a rare vintage transforming toy from the TigerSharks toy line, based on the jack-of-all-trades character from the classic animated series. Featuring Transformatic Action, Lorca transforms from a humanoid figure into a whale-like form by rotating the left arm clockwise. The figure includes an Aqua-Pak water backpack accessory that connects to the head and sprays water through the blowhole when activated.

Considered the least common of the eight TigerSharks figures, Lorca is a highly sought-after collectible. Like other transforming figures in the line, the chest door mechanism was prone to breaking or being lost. Unlike Dolph, Lorca’s water-spraying ability was not shown in the animated series, making the toy feature a unique addition. The LJN Lorca TigerSharks figure is popular among collectors of vintage LJN toys, 1980s cartoon action figures, Transformatic Action figures, and classic animation collectibles.
